Avery®Supreme Wrapping Film

Frequently asked questions

1. What is Easy Apply RS™ technology?

It works in three ways to make the application more simple:

  1. It slides smoothly, enabling you to get the decal positioning exactly right, due to the layer of tiny dots that prevent contact with the adhesive layer until you decide to press the decal down into place. Once you do this, the adhesive bonds to the application surface.
  2. It can be easy repositioned due to the unique slide-ability created by the dots, unlike the “traditional” respositionable adhesives with air channels.
  3. It minimises problems with wrinkles and bubbles due to the special air egress technology which allows any remaining air trapped under the graphic to flow out through air channels in the adhesive, invisible on the face of the graphic, which enables you to achieve a truly high quality final result.

2. What is the difference between Air Egress products and Easy Apply RSTM?

The difference is the repositioning and slide. The appearance of the product is not different however it gives a complete different application experience. The handling of the film is much easier: Easy Apply RS™ gives the product a low tack, it can be easily positioned and repositioning is much easier compared to products with repositionable adhesive. Research with professional applicators has showed that slideability is even a more appreciated feature than air egress.

3. Is there a difference between “signage” Easy Apply RS™ and “digital” Easy Apply RS™?

Yes, to guarantee the high gloss level of the Avery® Supreme Wrapping Film the sizes of the air channels has been adapted for better visual appearance.
