CAD-CUT®
The term CAD-CUT®, which is commonly used in the garment
decoration
industry to refer to cutting your own graphics for garments, is
actually a registered trademark of GroupeSTAHL.
As the leading manufacturer in athletic numbers for decades,
Stahls’ saw the potential advantage of allowing their
customers
to custom-cut their heat applied materials on demand. Having been on
the forefront of development of heat-applied materials for die-cutting,
Stahls’ set out to make cuttable materials available by the
roll.
Stahls’ introduced an extensive line of patented
CAD-CUT®
materials in the late 1980’s and popularized the concept
through
extensive marketing efforts to the imprinted sportswear industry.
